<abstract>The datasets provides a geographic location of wastewater pipes within the City of Redmond city limits and in the UPD (Urban Planned Development) areas located east of Redmond. The locations of the pipes were derived from field verification, paper and electronic record drawings, and/or construction drawings. Mapping of the wastewater pipes was initiated in 1994 by the Water/Wastewater Engineering Division. The initial mapping occurred within Microstation (Bentley, Inc.) software environment and Lynx (Ch2MHill Engineering). Lynx was an AM/FM (automated mapping facility management) add-on to Microstation. In 2004 the data were migrated to GeoMedia and SQL Server 2000 database. The dataset is being maintained on daily basis by the GIS Services group</abstract>
<purpose>The purpose of the dataset is to provide accurate location and system information about the wastewater pipes. The data provides basis for wastewater system planning and waterwater system maintenance</purpose>

<idPurp>The purpose of the layer is to provide accurate location and system information about the wastewater pipes. The data provides basis for wastewater system planning and waterwater system maintenance</idPurp>
<idAbs>&lt;DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;DIV&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The wwPipe layer provides a geographic location of wastewater pipes within the City of Redmond city limits and in the UPD (Urban Planned Development) areas located east of Redmond. The locations of the pipes were derived from field verification, paper and electronic record drawings, and/or construction drawings. Mapping of the wastewater pipes was initiated in 1994 by the Water/Wastewater Engineering Division. The initial mapping occurred within Microstation (Bentley, Inc.) software environment and Lynx (Ch2MHill Engineering). Lynx was an AM/FM (automated mapping facility management) add-on to Microstation. In 2004 the data were migrated to GeoMedia and SQL Server 2000 database. The dataset is being maintained on daily basis by the GIS Services group&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;</idAbs>
